HAPPY HALLOWEEN

YUP Halloween evening and all the little ghosts and goblins have come and gone. I didn't get as many as I did last year by about 40 less. Only about 90 this evening. I wonder if the scare of the H1N1 FLU frightened many of the parents into not letting their children go out this year. I have some left over treats; small packages of Lay's Chips and assorted mini chocolate bars.

These past two weeks have been busy busy busy. Monday October 18 I started a Hilltop study. It was for seven days Monday - Saturday 3X/day and once on Sunday. The money came in handy and let me put more on my VISA and also get some groceries and Halloween treats. It also allowed me to knit away and finish my second Sockknitter's Antonymous challenge of knitting with yellow. I have now knit two socks in yellow and don't think I will knit with yellow for a long time or knit yellow sock in a very long time. I enjoyed both patterns I knit but certainly was NOT in my comfort zone knitting with yellow.

Here is the challenge for September which was knit in yellow and the Sockknitter's Anonymous Sock which is called Froggie Faces. I purchased this yarn from The CraftsMeow on etsy and the color is called banana. It is 100% merino. It is a very thin yarn but bloomed beautifully after washing.

I felt better when the sock was completed and I noticed it was quite tonal. Why you ask? B/c the other yellow sock I knit, I dyed myself and it was tonal and I thought it was something I did wrong. Seeing someone else who sells sock yarn she dyed tonal made me feel a lot better.

The second yellow sock managed to fall into two challenges. It was the fourth sock in the 2009 Sock Pentathlon called SUMMER and by doing it in yellow I could enter it in another September Sockknitter's challenge of knitting "any" sock pattern in yellow. I also entered it in the yahoo Whoduknit Sept project which was anything related to any book we have previously read. It was to represent yellow toddler socks for the book Bone harvest by Mary Logue despite it NOT being toddler socks. I figured since I used the lemonade Kool-Aid it would fit. You have to read the book to understand

The yarn I started with was Knit Picks Bare which I dyed with some lemonade Kool-Aid. Unable to find a second packet of which I knew I had as I received it in the whoduknit yahoo group I had to add some yellow food coloring. Here it is drying on a tree out my front door. Oh and on this tree I tied up a mummy for Halloween. Just look how nice it looks outside with green grass and leaves on the trees. It will be nice out like that again in several months. I am already counting the time and wishing my life away as I tend to do when the weather starts getting cold.

Back to my week's study at Hilltop.
Hilltop itself is always a challenge as I am NOT a morning person and I needed to be there for 8:25AM Monday thru Saturday for my first of three appt each day and on Sunday I needed to be there at 7:45AM. To get there for 7:45AM I had to take the first bus arriving at 7:24AM. Actually, I was #1 on the study and the time of that last visit on Sunday was supposed to be 16 - 18 hours after the second Saturday visit making the appt between 5:20AM and 7:20AM, only the staff doesn't even arrive until 7:30AM. The head of the study had to arrive by 7:15AM to set up the instrument machines and get them acclimated. It wouldn't have been so bad since I was there for such a brief period and could head back home to bed. Only there was a glitch in the plan when the I got to the bus figuring I missed one bus by 4 minutes realising I had to wait for the next bus., I was told by another waiting the bus I missed, it never arrived. The next bus 9:04AM didn't come either. The third bus was 11 minutes late. Thus, I didn't get home until 10AM and I had expected to be home much earlier and back to bed before 10AM. I did go back to bed anyway.

Monday I was just so tired I didn't do very much. I did go and get my Halloween treats and some groceries. I also had to prepare myself for my capsule camera endoscopy which was Tuesday October 30 starting early in the morning. My preparation was only clear fluids after lunch and nothing after MN. Thank-goodness I didn't have to take any laxatives but I usually don't anyway since I have no large bowel and am missing a bit of my small bowel also.

Here is the camera I had to swallow. Over the course of eight hours it would take 60,000 photos of the inside of my small bowel. I had a lot of electrodes stuck on my abd which were connected to a computer that was recording the photos the camera was taking. The computer was in a case I carried like a pocketbook with a shoulder strap. After two hours of swallowing the pill I could have some clear fluids and jello. In another two hours (four hours after swallowing the pill) I could eat. Once I swallowed the pill I could go about my business to return at 4PM to have the electrodes removed. Then the computer I was carrying was sinked to a regular computer to download the photos which would take several hours. I did get to see the beginning before I left. Now I wait to hear from my gastroentrologist. Only one of these procedures is done each day as they only have one of the portable computers you carry about. I never did see the doctor in charge of this procedure, just a couple of nurses.

Well since this is so old and sitting in my folder waiting to be published I will do that now and won't tell you what the date is I am doing this and go on with another blog post especially since I can't remember now what else I was going to write here.

BUSY BUSY BUSY I AM

YUP I am now going to quite busy with packing for my move and Avon having two week campaigns. Add to that I made a Hilltop Study today. I picked up soap Dove to use for the conditioning period. It is an arm wash this time. I usually make them but when I got my soap my arms were borderline dry. Today they seem to still have patchy areas of borderline dryness and some areas drier so I qualified. It is three times a day through Thursday and twice on Friday. I am even going to dry out for another study in May. May 2 is soap pickup which is Ivory and the study is May 5 - May 9 but only once a day if I make it. It totals about 10 hours but Monday is about four hours and two days only have 30 minute visits. Each day is different. With my move and all the added expenses this money is definitely going to come in handy. The post office now charges to put a change of address in. It is $37 for six months and $68 if you choose to have the change last for 12 months. At one time it was free.

I have been very busy packing. There are 20 boxes of books (not all knitting) packed in those boxes from my LR alone. I have a copy of everything in those boxes so if I want something I know what box it is in. Here are some of my candle holders I will have to pack. AND here is a very funny knickknack I have on my computer desk. The thing is every time I start to pack and I look around I feel so overwhelmed I sit down and knit. Thus, no packing gets done.

Solara loves all the boxes in the apartment. She checks everyone out for fit and comfort.

I FINISHED MY HILLTOP STUDY

I finally finished my Hilltop study. It started on February 14 in the afternoon with one visit. Then we had two visits a day including Saturdays and Sundays until Wednesday March 12. My appt were at 9:20AM and 6:20PM. On Thursday March 13 we began our once a day visits in the late afternoon an hour and a half earlier than our previous afternoon/evening appts which went until the last day Monday March 17. Mine was for 4:50PM. It was a long study and a major commitment but the pay was excellent. Mine is put away for my co-op fee. I did call them and found out I am still #5. Yes there are four ahead of me yet and I will have been on the list four years as of April 1. The first three have been on the list since June 2003 and the fourth since Feb 2004. Then there is moi!! Maybe when they call the people ahead of me they will have found another place, had babies so the two bedroom is too small for them or even moved away. Then they will call me and the packing will begin. Wish me luck. I really need to get out of the apt. It has gone downhill so much since I moved here in 1994. AND it is time for a new place also.

YES I MADE ONE FINALLY AND I RECEIVED....

It is about time. I haven't made the last three Hilltop studies I tried out for in the fall. Thus, I stopped trying out for them BUT I made this one and is it a good one. It is very time consuming but the money at the end is just WONDERFUL. My co-op share fee is just about covered with this one study. Hilltop has never had a study paying so much. AND being it is considered an honorarium, well, you know what that means.
AND that is not all that is good.

Knitting Goodness

I received my prize for guessing the name of the stitch of a cloth in the love2knitdishcloth group. I got the cloth I guessed and it is really nice. it definitely won't be touching a dirty dish or a pot.

I also received a lovely magnetic bookmark. I find the magnetic bookmarks the best. You get lots of use from them before they are demolished and they are not that easy to loose.

I also received my whoduknit prize from the December A Farewell to Yarns project. I received two skeins of some lovely pink Knit Picks Shine Worsted which is 60% Pima cotton and 40% modal. The color is Snapdragon. It is oh so soft. I also received a pattern called Penny's Mystery Knit Kit. I think it is a dishcloth as it only has 36 stitches and the appropriate number of rows for one. HMMM show I do it in this lovely pink yarn or just a plain yarn and save this for a nice toy or baby item???? I also received a book. I haven't read it and want to as it is the first in the series of the Claire Waitkins mysteries. I read Bone Harvest as one of the whoduknit monthly book reads last year and it was very good. When I am finished with this book I will then pass it on to someone else to enjoy. I need to put my thank-yous on the proper lists.

Well I am going to end this as it is really old sitting in my draft area of the blogs and start another post.

WHERE SHOULD I START....

....since I haven't blogged for so long. I think I will start with today and add the past as I go alone.

This afternoon I went and had my B12 injection so that is taken care of for a month now. AND I showed my doc a lump on my right wrist. He thought it could be a lipoma, a cyst or a ganglion. I have had several lipomas removed, many many cysts removed and also a ganglion removed but that was on the inside of my left wrist. Then he pushed and squeezed it some more and said HMMMM I think maybe a cyst as I think I can feel some fluid. If you want I can stick an 18 gauge needle in next month and see if any fluid comes out. My face turned white and I felt weak in the knees. Stick a hugh needle in my wrist that I need for knitting to see if fluid comes out. If there is no fluid then that would eliminate it being a cyst. He knows I use it a lot and knit a lot. He also knows I am not going to let him stick a hugh 18 gauge needle in me even with some lidocaine if I can help it. I first saw a new doctor who may end up working there and then I saw my doc. It was funny they did their chatting about me after I saw the new doctor with me present consulting with me and my doctor checking this new lady doctor didn't miss anything. BUT I will say doctors don't know how to give an injection. My arm still hurts. You have to give a needle with a sorta dart throw. I am not sure if that is how to describe it but it is definitely not putting the needle to your arm and stabbing you. Anyone can give an injection like that and those hurt. Sorry that is the nurse in me speaking.

After I came home I did some sewing very little just some lining for a swap package and wrapped some gifties up for packages and then got ready for my Avon party.

This evening I went to an Avon party with Santa, gifts, and line dance instructions. There was only about 12 of us but we did have fun. It was a pot luck meal each of us bringing something and also a gift for $5.00 which was given to us by Santa, (Sue's Husband). I got a box of yummy yummy After Eight Dinner Mints. I wrapped up a tin of Tim Horton's coffee to bring and put it in a gift bag. I was happy with my gift and the person who received mine seemed extremely happy. We also brought a tin for the bin to be donated from the Avon ladies of district 672. There was a ton of food to eat and, of course, lots of Avon talk including about all the shorts we receive and especially the shorts at this time of the year. My Avon order comes in to be packed on Thursday evening and in the one of the boxes will be a gift from Avon for me. Yesterday I got a Christmas card from Avon in the mail.

OH and yesterday I also received this: It is my Coffee Swap 3 package from Allena. I am going to try to wait and save it to open on Christmas. You may see me show other sealed packages and write that I am going to try and save them so I have a lot of goodies to open sometime after I get up on Christmas day in several more posts. You will have to continue to read my blog to see what goodies those boxes contained. Allena also received her package from me yesterday BUT she opened hers. I am very glad she liked all the gifties I sent her.

I have mailed out other swaps which include Harvest Sock Swap, KnitnPlay, Whoduknit Holiday Swap and Hand Dyed Yarn Swap 2. I have received confirmation from Canada Post that my partner in the KnitnPlay has received her package only I haven't heard from her myself. Here is a photo of what I sent her. Here is a close up. I discovered the Ram Selkirk doesn't felt as well as Paton's Classic and Galaway. I hope she likes her bag and the goodies I sent her which included an Avon Cinnamon Bun candle and Celestial Seasoning Dessert tea so she can have some treats without excess calories, sugar or fat, a knitting magazine, small scissors great for snipping yarn ends, a nail emergency kit and some Avon lip balm.

I have heard from my Harvest Swap partner that my package is now on it's way, my Christmas Around the World was mailed a while ago, my Hand Dyed Yarn Swap 2 package was mailed and should be here in a couple of days since it is coming from Canada and my Monkey Swap package was mailed but I don't know if it includes the socks as I couldn't understand from her email if she hadn't finished them or hadn't even started them from her email she wrote me more than two weeks ago. BUT according the the group hostess she has mailed something to me. It is a bummer to read about what others get and see such lovely photos while you wait and wait and wait and hope you get something and are not stiffed. I do understand that life does happen BUT I don't understand why people join and don't follow through and play nice. It is not only bad for the person who gets nothing but also for the hostess, the person who puts the swaps together, everyone in the swaps as they feel bad when others don't receive there packages and are so thankful it wasn't them that was stiffed, and the swap reputation. Well enough ranting.

BUT I also received another puffy yesterday which I opened. My puffy was from Susan L in the addictedtoknit dishcloth group where we are completing a three month swap. This was the third and final package.

The package included a lovely triangular cloth, a soap sack with what looks like two pecans or walnuts, a bookmark and some Grits. I have some southern in me. I love grits. I do have to admit I am not that crazy for the Cheddar flavored ones.

Tomorrow morning I am off to try out for another Hilltop Study (which is visit #1). If I make the study it will begin on Sunday but again you have to re qualify for the study. There will be a total of 17 more visits with three on each day Sunday - Wednesday, two visits on Thursday and one on each day Friday - Sunday. Wish me luck.

I AM MELTING, KNIITTING and MORE

It is so blasted hot in my apartment. The heat has been on full blast most of the last few days and it is quite warm outside. Thus, it is a steam bath in my apartment and I am melting. The caretakers certainly either don't know how to regulate the boiler or don't want to. I have either been wearing shorts and a tank top or a summer halter outfit in the apartment. The windows are open and my fan is on. It sure makes figuring what it is like outside difficult.

Last week was spent at Hilltop on a study. I was quite busy with three visits and day and doing Avon but I got it all done. On Friday after the study was completed off to the bank I went with my check and put part of the money I received on my MTS bill which is now paid up for last month. I also put some more money on my VISA. VOILA no money left!! It seems I am forever robbing Peter to pay Paul. Wednesday morning November 14 I am going back to Hilltop and pick up soap for an arm wash which will run from Monday November 19 - Friday November 23 if I make the study. There will be only two visits a day for this study. Then I can pay most of this month's MTS bill.

BUT on to more interesting things.

This past Sunday I took the first of a two day spinning workshop. The class was held at Mona's (Woseley Wardrobe). It was a lot of fun although I don't think I did a great job. My yarn is quite lumpy. First I spun on an Ashford spinning wheel and then I tried the Lendrom wheel. When the day was over Francine from Rovings who was teaching the class wound the yarn into two small skeins which she then wound together. Look at all that lovely yarn at Mona's who now has Manos del Uruguay in stock.

AND here is my yarn. It looks really interesting. I will keep it as a remembrance of my first attempt at spinning yarn. Now to be able to afford my own spinning wheel BUT I also know I need to save for a new computer system since mine is about eight years old. It is still working well BUT I want to be prepared for when that new one is needed.

I have also been busy knitting. One bag has been completed. I hope my partner will like it. Here is a close up of the flap and the flowers which were all hand sewn on. I hope they don't fall off. I didn't put a snap on the flap since the flowers make the bag flap heavy and hold it down.
I am also working on another bag for a partner in a swap but it isn't ready for a photo yet. I am deciding on whether I should line it, if I should put pockets inside and what type of handles the bag needs.

I have also dyed my yarn for my Hand Dyed Yarn Swap #2 but can't show a photo yet so the yarn is a surprise. I hope she likes it. I am not a professional dyer. I think it is nice BUT it sure doesn't look like all those nice ones I see on Etsy. Maybe their cameras take better photos and they certainly make a skein from the dyed yarn better than I do. It was my third attempt at dyeing. It was fun. I used Kool-Aid. Here are two different views of the second skein I dyed also using Kool-Aid. The yarn was Dura Sport Briggs and Little and there was a bit a glitter to it which could have possibly been b/c of the nylon content in the yarn.

OH and here is a photo of the first yarn I ever dyed rolled into a ball. I dyed it with Kool-Aid too. This is also Dura Sport Briggs and Little yarn. These colors are very dusty and muted (lighter) which you can't tell in the photo but I really like it. I need to make some socks with it. I have knitted a couple of other small items but I can't say or I would give it away. So that will have to wait for a later post.

Avon has these neat rubber kitchen gloves for sale in their Home Expressions flyer. Unfortunately they are only in size large. They are black with rhinestones and ruffles. Here they are along with Solara. The gloves sell for $9.99 and you can also purchase a little black velvet apron with ruffles and rhinestones for $14.99.

I received an email from my Monkey Swap partner. She has misplaced my address so my package has yet to be mailed out. Also, everything is ready to send but the Monkey socks. I couldn't quite understand if she has started the socks and they are just not completed or has yet to start the socks. The swap started in Sept as sign ups were until August 31 and packages were to be received by November 1. My partner told me earlier she was running behind apparently due to some health problems and a new job. I do hope she is feeling much better now and she didn't have a serious health issue. The package minus the Monkey Socks is going to be mailed once she receives my address which I did send her and the Monkey socks will be mailed as soon as she is able.

I haven't received my Knitters Tea Swap 4 either. I was told I should be receiving it very soon last week. BUT with the holiday in both countries and the fact that the Canadian postal system is overly busy and bogged down due to lots of people purchasing from Ebay with the change in the US dollar who knows when it will get here. AH HA since I have written this it will show up tomorrow morning. Isn't that the way it is? I am sure it has to do with Murphy's Law. HEE HEE

I myself have a few swaps that are ready to be mailed if I can sit down, pack and label them. What is waiting to be packed is the Harvest Sock Swap, Knitters Coffee Swap 3, my third and final package for addictedtoknitdishcloth group three month swap partner, and my knitnplay package. I hope to get them packaged and sent out tomorrow or Thursday the latest. I still have other packages that are not quite ready to be mailed but will be soon.

I was very disappointed to read that there will not be a spring felted bag exchange due to the failure of so many swappers to fulfill their obligation to the swap and mail out their partner a package. It seems that the ITE4 also had a lot of people not fulfilling their swap agreements. Why join if you are not going to play fair? I find it fun not just receiving pressies and gifts in the mail but knitting and shopping for someone else.

FINALLY I MADE A HILLTOP STUDY

I can't believe I finally made a study at Hilltop today BUT I did and boy will the money come in handy which is already accounted for and spent. This is a dry leg study and I will go to Hilltop three times a day until Thursday and then twice on Friday. YAY!!! My legs were even dryer than they were last Wednesday and I still made the study. I chose an early time even thought I am not a morning person. There are 52 participants in the study and if things get backed up and you have a later appt. time you could end up getting out really really late after the third visit.
I brought my knitting and my book. I finished reading Kathy Reich's' Break No Bones. I enjoyed it.
I am glad I got most of my Avon out now that I am on this study with three visits a day. I do have an eye appt. on Wednesday which I will have to see if I can find a way to work around my HT visits.
Then at about 2PM today was there ever hugh snow flakes coming down but it didn't last long. PHEW! BUT it is getting colder out. With the time change it is dark earlier now making it really seem like winter is almost upon us.

SUNDAY AGAIN AND A WHOLE LOT OF POST

YUP I seem to have left my posting again for a week. WELL except for yesterday's post.

Monday I did some laundry. I know we all do laundry. I am only mentioning this so I can show a photo of my fur toddler further in the blog.

AH Tuesday my girlfriend came over for dinner. Her exchange student joined us a little later. We had chili. For dessert I made us an apple pie. At first I didn't think it would get baked when the fuse for the oven blew. I put in a fuse I had and it seemed to work for a while but not permanently. So out I went with a pie ready to be baked looking for a fuse. I had to go to four places before I found one. PHEW, I thought I would have to end up going downtown on the bus or worse yet Home Depot. So here are the photos of my pie in the making and .....

This first one is of the empty ready to be filled pie plate. It is a lovely pie plate and one I got free when I purchased something in the mail years and years ago. Here are my apples all cut and mixed with sugar and minit tapioca. I usually make my pies with about five pounds of Macs but there were three pound bags on sale so I got two. It was just as well since a few were in rough shape.

Tuesday started out awful when in the middle of the night I noticed the toilet was leaking and there is only one toilet in my apartment. It took a while to figure out where the leak was coming from. When I did I was able to turn off the valve. At first it seemed to be coming from under the toilet. I know nothing about plumbing, electricity and carpentry. I left a message on the property manager's emergency number so they could get back to me which they did at 6:45AM. I was told to call the caretaker. I did and I explained I had spoken to the property manger who said I was to phone her and have her call the plumber to come right away. I got a return call almost immediately from the caretaker telling me that the plumber wasn't answering his phone and possibly was "scheduled up" for the day already HUH???? BUT she would call her husband to come and see what the problem was (they are separated and live apart as far as I know). A little after 9AM I called the property management company myself. They in turn got in touch with the plumber who called me back immediately and said he would be here in an hour which he was. He fixed the toilet very quick as he had the needed part in his truck. There was a hole in the plastic thingy that is attached to the metal curly thing. At 12:40PM the caretaker's husband showed up to see what the problem was with my toilet. Then the fuse in the oven blew. BUT in the end the day turned out fine, the company enjoyable and I have to say dinner was delicious.

Wednesday (Halloween) morning I went to Hilltop to pick up soap to try for another dry leg study. This time at least I was given a bar of soap and a time to try out for the study on Monday despite my legs being maybe a bit too try???? In the early afternoon I went for my Flu shot. I am now ready for the winter. I get one every year and have not had a horrible flu for 30 years. I have had some really bad colds, and awful ear infections but no flu!! AND in my other arm I got my monthly B12 injection. I came back home and got ready for my friend Shelagh to come over for a visit and share with me some of the left over chili and apple pie. AND I was hoping the postman would bring me a package. BUT the day was passing by and it would soon be evening. One of the packages I was waiting for was my whoduknit Trick and Treat swap package. At this point I figured I would be one of the people receiving their gift after the holiday. With the postal service you never know how long a package will take to get somewhere. BUT yes the postman came by in the late afternoon.

Knitting Goodness

AND yes it was my whoduknit Trick and Treat package from Mindy. It was in a cardboard type mailing envelope and when I opened it look what I pulled out. What a great Halloween bag. Here are some of the goodies I found in my bag. I thought the trick was that Mindy put some chocolate candy in each end of the skein of Lamb's Pride Black Yarn. BUT that wasn't the trick. The yarn is to be able to make the pattern she included for a black felted witch's cauldron. The trick is how to make a magic potion in the finished cauldron. See there are three pair of earrings and the chocolates that were in the end of the yarn also.
Other goodies I received included a Miss Seeton Mystery called Witch Miss Seeton by Heron Carvic. I never heard of this author and it sounds like a fun read. Inside it says. "This is not so much black comedy as black currant comedy .... you can't stop reading. Or laughing" Also, included was a pumpkin on a bike carrying a lollipop you wind up and the pumpkin rides away, a tube of bat wings with a plastic mummy key chain and a baby rubber ducky dressed up as a witch.
Here is the little miss trying to get in on the action. On Wednesday when Shelagh came to visit those clothes were still in the box in my livingroom (as they also were on Tuesday when I had company) and Solara was still using it for her bed. She does love to lie all over the dirty clothes but she also love the nice clean ones. Here you can see her enjoying herself in the nice clean laundry. The box of clothes didn't last long as a favorite place once Shelagh arrived with her knitting bag. Here she is trying to get into the bag. Since she couldn't fit in the bag she chose to sit on it.

Now this is more comfortable.

Thursday was a busy day cleaning up and getting ready for my Avon to be delivered. I was receiving 12 boxes. I had to get these packed that same night which I usually do so not to have too much mess in my apt. AND b/c they need to be delivered , new brochures dropped off and money deposited by the following Thursday the latest so my next order would be delivered to me. I had read my invoice online and there was close to $300 in shorted items. Some of these items had been already shorted in the previous campaign. BUT my sales are increasing and I am getting closer and closer to President's club and a new Lady Albee for this year. This time my Avon arrived at 9PM. The last delivery arrived at 10:30PM and the poor delivery guy had eight more deliveries to do since he was covering two areas. It is very hard on the person who delivers to me as there is no elevator in my apartment and I am on the second floor. The delivery people and there have been women don't get much paid much. They are not paid by the number of boxes they deliver but just for each delivery.

Friday I made some deliveries and dropped off a few orders. Genie came over in the evening; I knit, she crocheted and we gabbed.

Today I delivered most of the remaining brochures and orders I had. I have about four more deliveries to make and a few more brochures to drop off.

BUT of course I have been knitting.
I have finished my whoduknit Slipknot project. I made a thong for Jane to wear on her date so she could feel sexy since she wasn't able to find anything to wear for it when she went shopping. Since the date went down the tubes so to speak she can also wear it on a future date which I am sure will happen later as the story progresses. Here is what I knit for her.

I am almost finished with my bag for my knitnplay partner. I was working on the handles for quite a while as I couldn't decide what kind of handles I wanted to put on the bag. Then I re-did the flowers for the embellishments. They are now knitted but all the flowers are not ready to put on the bag. This is a photo with the old flowers. They are not sewn on. The new ones ready to be sewn on look much nicer. I wanted to mention that I did notice the my Fall Felted bag partner Nicola, who I sent my package to sent her package to Leslie who sent me my package. We were a threesome. I wonder is our hostess did this with all the gals. Also, the card I received from my FFBE partner Leslie was a photo of "cupcakes".

I am making headway on Mixed Jelly Bean Socks, my addictedtoknitdishcloth birthday gift for December and will be starting something for both my Harvest Sock Swap partner and weluvknitting partner which I hope I am able to finish it on time.

I haven't been on Ravelry for several days but should be back on there again soon.
